Please read this well, and don't think I'm rebelling :) I'm just trying to tell my side of the situation.
When the rules get strict, u want to rebell ! Oh yeah, I feel ya! If you're a good guy nerd face, you'd probably say " I'll obey the rules no matter how crazy it is" WHATEVER! Be realistic! Rules aren't ALWAYS right! There are some rules out there, put up only because the person who put it up was POWER HUNGRY! "oh yeah! I have the power! I like seeing you kids suffer for my benefit!"
Question... Would u really obey the rule "no cellphones" when you know theres gonna be a huge storm tomorrow called, Ondoy? What happens when the world falls apart? What happens when your school is 6ft under screens when no one seems to hear a thing, what happens when cars are flying in the air toward your face?! When you think about it, you will regret obeying this rule, meant for the good of your "education" what about my life?!
Though... not all rules should be disobeyed, if you're not happy with it, talk to the boss. There ARE rules out there that you should really obey. Learn how to distinguish between OA rules and legit ones!
There is a way of getting things right without rebelling. Simply talk to authority, tell them about what could happen during the storm and tell them you need your phone in-case of an emergency. Problems can be solved just by directly talking to the other person concerned, instead of back-stabbing him on Facebook. So speak well, and be nice! I guarantee you will get through it ;) there ! I spoke my mind for you :D

I think we should make pauso the word AWESOMAZING..hehe..
ReplyDeleteSometimes students or office workers who bring cellphones to school or work abuse this privilege. They text even when classes are ongoing or even if they're supposed to finish their jobs. And some play with their phones rather than listen to their teachers in class.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous : Good point! I understand not everybody's disciplined in such a way. Still, phones are needed when it comes to some AWESMAZING tragedies... I guess the only way to have your phone in school is if we have a PHONE-SURRENDERING- TO-AUTHORITIES Program :)
