Field Trips: How to make the best of it

Field trips! Just last week, our school principal announced that we're finally having our field trip! it's been almost a year since they promised this. So in our minds, since it's the last quarter and all academics are done, we knew our school's going to give us a NOT so EDUCATIONAL field trip, but more of a fun one! And OH YEAH, we were right.

This year, our school's taking us to ZOOBIC Safari! I can still taste a little education there, but at-least it isn't some boring museum with dead people in glass or anything, instead... we get to see living animals attack us from a jeepney! Isnt that exciting?! Yes it is!

Now, if you're going to have a field trip soon. I have a few tips you can use for you to enjoy your field trip!

1.If your phone has a good camera, don't bring a camera anymore!

-Let's face it... We're teenagers! We lose things unintentionally, since we prefer to have fun and not notice out expensive iPhone lying on a bus seat... It's better if we worry only about one gadget and one gadget only.

2.Pack light

-No! don't pack a Phillips light bulb... Instead, pack only the things you need. Remember last year when you brought that bag full of diamonds and rocks? You had hard time putting it on the bus's top shelf didn't you? Well, I guess you've learned your lesson. Pack only the things you need. EX. 2 extra shirts, slippers, and 3 medium sized plastic bags... Then watch this Youtube video of a guy packing all his stuff by folding them into microscopic sizes...

3.Snacks should be separated from your MAIN bag

-It's hard to get your snacks deep inside your cluttered bag right? So what's wrong with bringing an extra plastic bag full of chips and food?

4.Bring money worth more than P500

-Let's face it... EVERYTHING it expensive! If you want to buy food, then you need at least 300 for the whole day. So atleast you have 200 bucks to save. If you wanna spend it, GO it's your money! :)

5.Bring a jacket with a lot of pockets

-Honestly, we know our school wont put us in an unair-conditioned bus right? So better expect a cold ride. You're gonna be in that bus for about 3 hours under the air-con. No matter what you do, you will still freeze to death if you don't have jacket... I mean, wearing the window curtains as a blanket won't look good on you. Trust me. And for the pockets. You're gonna need them if you're gonna bring a lot of money and a lot of gadgets

6.Pack a lot of water

-You will get dehydrated and die... You need water... Srsly

7.If you have an Android phone and you're terrified of losing it

-Ask your little brother if you could borrow his 3210 instead while he plays with your Blackberry... So when you lose his phone... you won't feel as bad as when you lose your 40K phone.

8.Bring a pillow

-You can bring just a small one, trust me... When you arrive in subic with a stiff neck, you won't enjoy it... So Instead of dropping your head on the rock hard arm rest, get a pillow! it's what normal people sleep on

9.You might get bored

-If you have a high-tech phone like a BLACKBERRY, iPhone, ANDROID etc... Better covert them huge .avi files and convert them to mp4 so you could watch your fave movies on your phone! make sure to bring headphones or earphones. Just be careful with your stuff. Don't lose it or mom will shoot you with a BB gun.

10.Pray before the trip

-Ask God for protection against any deadly accidents. Ask God to guide the bus driver etc. It's between you and God :)

11.(Optional) You want to look good in all the pictures?

-Bring a small mirror and a comb or brush. So before you step outta that bus, you're sure everyone will notice your beautiful hair flowing with the wind! :) The... SNAP... Someone takes a stolen picture of you, but YOU DONT CARE, You're BEAUTIFUL! :))

12.(IMPORTANT) Fully charge all gadgets

-If you plan to play with your phone the whole trip, you better bring your charger or just fully charge it if it's that good of a phone. Also, if you need a lot of camera space, get an extra SD card or memory card so you can store more memories in them. IF you can't bring a charger, bring some extra batteries.
